Semi-Submersible Salvage Vessel(12,000Tons)

Recently, our sister company in Shipbuilding sector was successfully awarded the contract of two 12,000 Tons Semi-submersible Salvage Vessels for the Salvage Bureau of Ministry of Transport. This is the second time further to the year 2012 for the same type Semi-Submersible Salvage Vessel for the Ministry of Transport.

This Semi-Submersible Salvage Vessel is with the overall length of 166m, molded width of 38m and depth of 10m, and its design speed is 14knots, and of the range of 15,000 nautical miles. The Semi-Submersible Salvage Vessel is equipped with the advanced Electric Propulsion system, DP2 Dynamic Positioning system, the high-accuracy sensor-based system, the intelligent control system, as well as the strong and fast ballast water regulation system. The single side lift capacity of the ship reaches 12,000 tons, while the lift capacity of two ships is up to the 24,000 tons. There are two buoyancy tanks installed in the stern part, which help the submerged draft to reach 21.4m. Based on the salvage ability, the vessel has semi-submerged ability. By this way, the submerged lifting capacity is over 12,000 tons. Meanwhile, there is also spacious cargo loading deck on the ship. With that the vessel can transport the oversized cargos. The loading capacity in the stern part is over 8,000 tons, and the transverse pull loading module is able to lift cargoes over 10,000 tons.

In the future, this ship will be mainly used on the emergent salvage of huge damaged vessels and the naval crafts, and the loading and transport of damaged vessels. In the meantime, it can transport the super large goods such as the huge equipments and steel structures, the offshore drilling rigs, the stingers, and the ship blocks on the sea.
