Fixed Jetty Crane Upgrading

With the ever-changing need to upgrade and retrofit the existing loading and unloading facilities at quayside, and to optimize the working capacity and productivity of entire material handling system,

Our team recently had undertaken and completed one of most extensive retrofit & integration for Fixed Jetty Crane for one of the General conventional cargo & Break bulk cargo owners for upgrading its capacity respectively with the latest advanced cranes modern-day technology.

The project featured upgrading of modification for its lifting capacity and working speed, and including several key solutions for installation the latest mechanical driving system(withstanding the tremendous force applied), the electric control system(Variable frequency motors control, control panel cabinets upgrades), the safety monitoring system, till finally commissioning.

We’re very proud that one of best team been deployed in such complicated project, and our new cranes system will help the owner to benefit operating a more efficient safer modern yard, and enhance its quays & docks to accommodate the latest generation of ultra-large river vessels for operations.

 

Below are the new 20T Fixed Jetty crane updated performances:

S.W.L: Main hoist 20T@8.5m to 15m(for hook), and 10T@8.5m to 20m(for grab)

Working capacity: 250 t/h – 300 t/h

Lifting height: from -8m below quay level to +7m above quay level.

Working speed:

Main hoist: 26 m/min(for hook)

Main hoist: 51 m/min(for grab)

Boom luffing: 21 m/min

Boom slewing: 1.5 r.p.m

End-tail radius: 5.5 m

Installed power: 194 kW
